The Pink Wine Case gives you of bottles apiece of six rather lovely rosés, intensively tried & tested over time in hostelries and dining rooms across the land.

And bought as a mixed case of 12 you get our standard 15% off the full price as well as free delivery.

Let's start in France, specifically Cabardès in Languedoc-Roussillon, and Maison Ventenac Trêve Estivale, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache & Syrah you'd easily mistake for a Côtes de Provence in colour, style and flavour.

Similarly Provençal in style, prettily pale but a touch fuller on flavour is Château Laballe Brume Rosé, a Cabernet Franc & Merlot blend from Gascony, where Cyril Laudet's family has been farming for centuries.

Armas de Guerra Rosado is a Mencía from cool-climate Bierzo in north-west Spain, pale and dry with red berry flavours.

Swooping in from left field is Pasaeli Çalkarasi Rosé, a dry, rare pink made from the endangered Çalkarasi grape grown at altitude in Çal, Turkey by pioneering producer Seyit Karagozoglu.

Continuing the tour into Austria, young Arnold Holzer's Eschenhof Holzer Wagram Zweigelt Rosé is a longtime favourite, delivering big, bold, slightly darker flavours. Wine writer Fiona Beckett described it this "rather sexy frosted bottle" as having "Pinot-like character" in Decanter magazine.

Finally Quinta dos Espinhosos LIV Vinho Verde Rosé from the Minho in northern Portugal may look the darkest, and it is, but don't let that colour lead you astray because this blend of Touriga Nacional and Vinhão is dry, nicely structured and full of flavour. A classy drop.
