Virgin soils, frontier wine region, stellar team. Okanagan Crush Pad was founded in the Okanagan Valley in 2011 by Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie, a shared facility for small farmers and winemakers, as well as home to their own growing range of organic & biodynamic natural wines.
On hearing Gamay most people think of Beuajolais but it is finding new homes in cool climates around the world. The Secrest Mountain Vineyard (487m) is one of these homes. The wine it produces has a bright acidity and gentle tannins which bring together notes of ripe red berry and chocolate, a perfect flagbearer for new world Gamay.
