Virgin soils, frontier wine region, stellar team. Okanagan Crush Pad was founded in the Okanagan Valley in 2011 by Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie, a shared facility for small farmers and winemakers, as well as home to their own growing range of organic & biodynamic natural wines.
The Bub is a very cool bit of fizz. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Secrest Mountain vineyard and Watkin Family vineyards, two uniquely different sites. Naturally made and disgorged with no dosage, so it's bone dry and bracingly fresh, with sophisticated citrus and toasty flavours.
This is a very rare and high quality example of aged, vintage, traditional method sparkling wine from the New World that can hold its own against more renowned wines from the Old World (yes Champagne we're looking at you). If multi-layered complexity is what you're keen on, you will love this.
