This is now the sixth release of Greyfriars' IWC 2019 Trophy and Gold Medal-winning sparkling rosé.
The Pinot Noir grapes were hand picked, crushed and de-stemmed then soaked in the press for two hours. One third of the base wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels with the remainder in stainless steel tanks.
Disgorged in April 2021 and released in July 2021 with more than three years ageing on lees in bottle. With a dosage of just 7g per litre it has lovely freshness to cut through the ripe red berry fruit.
