This is now the fifth release of Greyfriars' IWC 2019 Trophy and Gold Medal-winning sparkling rosé.
The Pinot Noir grapes were hand picked, crushed and de-stemmed then soaked in the press for two hours. One third of the base wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels with the remainder in stainless steel tanks.
Disgorged in January 2020 and released in June 2020 with a minimum of three years ageing on lees in bottle. With a dosage of just 5g/l it has lovely freshness to cut through the ripe red fruit.
