Bring us summer and picnics, Austrian Zweigelt and all things nice. Whether you chill it or not, this is an awesome drop by young Arnold Holzer, like fresh summer pudding and black pepper in a glass. Zweigelt is a crossing of Austrian grapes Sankt Laurent and Blaufränkisch, and the most widely planted red grape in the country.
This is from Arnold's vineyards (in organic conversion) around his home town of Grossriendthal, in the heart of Wagram. Elevated fruit flavour and aroma, with violets, red fruits and black pepper spice on the finish.
