Château Fontarèche is one of the most historical estates in the Languedoc. It has been in the Mignard family since 1642 and is today owned by Jacques De Lamy. The estate is managed, however, by head winemaker Vincent Dubernet, whose father preceded him as consultant winemaker.

This rarely seen grape variety is championed by Corbieres estate, Chateau Fontareche. The Piquepoul Noir has a fragrant, supple character with layers of blackberry fruit and wild herbs.

The nose is fragrant with layers of bright, black fruit laced with a hint of liquorice and sage. The palate is supple with expressive blackberry fruit and a long, fresh finish.
