With hundreds of native grapes, Portugal's biodiversity is something to treasure. Adega de Borba was founded in 1955 by the coming together of thirteen winegrowers, to celebrate and promote the Alentego region and its distinctive grapes. Convento da Vila is true to that tradition, with a blend of local varieties - Trincadeira, Aragonez (aka Tempranillo), Castelão and Touriga Franca - combining to create a deeply flavoured, impeccably balanced red wine.
